Dear Ron Paul - Lead my people to freedom!

Dear Ron Paul - this is a dangerous time. The powers amassed by the federal government in the last seven years has been astounding in quantity and purpose and function. These powers for the most part lie unused as the mechanics and infrastructure for an extremely technologically advanced police state are built. This is the calm before the storm.

It is certain at least in my own mind that you will not win the Presidency, for the amount of money and power that is at stake is far too great for the corrupt evil elites who control our nation to let it go back to it's rightful owners - the people. And even if by some miracle you did win the office and managed to live to be sworn in as President of the United States of America then you would still have limited powers to undo more than two centuries of unchecked growth of tyranny, bureaucracy, corruption, and incompetence.

By all means continue to make every effort to win the Presidency - but do not let the failure to obtain a government post stop you and your efforts to lead America to liberty. There is a previously unnoticed unorganized diverse group of Americans who care about vitally important issues such as liberty, the law, the Federal Reserve, and the Internal Revenue Service. As our nation is led down the road to hell that is paved with good intentions by our own government this resistance to everything wrong and unconstitutional will grow.

This revolution began long before you began campaigning. It began long before you were even born as other principled Americans fought the same evils at their creation that you fight to this day. If the principles of liberty and law are not achieved in your lifetime then the revolution will continue on after your death. The sum of everything good and true in this country is on the line - all of the lives, liberty, and property of Americans together are much too valuable to make admitting defeat for failing to get another government job a rational or reasonable position.

As the Declaration of Independence says:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.— That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

This blog shall outline in depth and at length the reasons why I am exercising my right to alter the government by voting for Ron Paul for President in 2008. This is my last attempt to work within the system for change. If Ron Paul can not be elected President due to the corruption that is rampant throughout our society then I believe we must exercise our right to abolish the government and form a new one. I call upon Ron Paul to not let any petty tribulation such as the election stop him from leading the new American revolution. I will continue to donate money and time to Ron Paul so long as he fights for the principles of liberty and the law, regardless of whether it is election season or not. I revoke my consent to be governed from the federal government.

To the federal government of the United States of America: You are hereby fired. All forms and types of consent are hereby revoked.

I exercise my right of liberty to choose to consent to have Ron Paul govern me. I do not grant him the powers of a dictator, instead I grant Ron Paul the power to represent me in the fight to establish the rule of law in this country. This consent to be governed shall be revoked upon Ron Paul's death, his abandonment of his principles, his betrayal of America or the law, or the emergence of a better man for the job. I believe all Americans should revoke their consent for the federal government to continue operating, and choose a person to represent them in this war for the rule of law and principles of liberty. Let the market cease to support the federal government, and let the best people win after that. Ron Paul must continue to lead to illustrate that there is still a free market for power if we simply stop believing the government's lie that we must consent to it's rule. Ron Paul, if you are reading this - lead America to freedom!
